I’ve really been loving sharing more of our blogs with our couples so you can get to know the people behind these awesome photos we’re taking for them! Kaitlyn and Blake recently did a portion of their 2 hour session with us in downtown Zionsville, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite little spots to shoot!
Are you looking for an Indianapolis Engagement Photographer? Let’s talk!
Q: When did you two meet?
A: We met back in high school, Franklin Central, during a musical production. I jokingly looked at my friends after staring at him from across the room and said “that kid is so cute I’m going to marry him.”
Q: Where was your first date?
A: We went downtown and walked around the monument, in the middle of December, and got hot chocolate at the Chocolate Shop!
Q: How did he ask you to marry you?
A: We went to dinner with my parents and after dinner, we walked to the monument downtown to get ice cream where Blake and I had our first date. Before I knew it all of my siblings were there and he was down on one knee!
Q: What do you love most about each other?
Kaitlyn: What isn’t there to love? I love that even after 8 years he makes me feel excited, and gives me that giddy feeling. I love that Blake is unapologeticlly himself. I love that he puts our little family first. I love that every day he makes me laugh so hard I could pee my pants. I love that loving him is easy, and that every day he makes it easier and easier to fall more in love with him.
Blake: I love how selfless she is in everything she does. She is kind, warm-hearted, and loving. Kaitlyn is always looking out for everyone and has their best interest in mind. I love how she is very family oriented and would do anything for anyone at any given second. I love that she’s honest, full of confidence, and beautiful. She has a natural ability to light up a room regardless of the lighting. Her mood is very contagious! I love everything about my sweetheart.
Q: Where can we find you on a Friday night date night?
A: You can find us at type of sporting event enjoying a wine slushee and a beer. Followed by a run through the Taco Bell drive through, before climbing in bed snuggling up with our pup. Or spending time with family any chance we get!
Q: What have you most enjoyed about working with Rogue and what would you say to other couples considering using us?
A: They are open to suggestions. They are professional, and make you feel comfortable while taking your photos. They are knowledgeable and help you iron out wedding details if you ask. They’ve done so many weddings and have tips to make your day perfect. I couldn’t imagine anyone else taking our photos.
Q: When's the big day and what are you looking forward to most about it?
A: We are getting married on January 11, 2020. We’re looking forward to sharing our special day with our closest friends and family. We can’t wait to finally tie the knot and start forever together!
