Updated: Jul 18

On July 13th, 2024, Jayden and Levi tied the knot in a wedding that perfectly embodied boho vibes and budget-friendly elegance. Their story began just over 180 days ago when they first met, and their connection quickly blossomed into a beautiful romance. Their wedding day, marked by black and white decor and a genuine love for each other, proved that you don't need to spend $50k or more to have the wedding of your dreams.

The Perfect Venue: Pavilion Center

The wedding took place at the Pavilion Center nestled at the back edge of Washington Township Park. Surrounded by green space, a wooded tree line, and a serene pond off the back covered patio, this venue offered a picturesque setting. The building itself boasts exposed knotty pine beams, high peak ceilings, and plenty of natural light, making it a modern alternative to a typical park setting. The couple chose this venue for its natural beauty and the rustic charm it provided.

The Day’s Timeline

Jayden and Levi opted for a smaller day of coverage, booking us for six hours from 2 pm to 8 pm. Their ceremony was held at 5 pm, allowing ample time for pre-ceremony preparations and post-ceremony celebrations.

Boho Vibes and Elegant Decor

Jayden and Levi’s wedding was a stunning blend of boho vibes and black-and-white elegance. The bride chose fake flowers that looked incredibly realistic and could be kept as home decor after the wedding. The florals perfectly captured the boho aesthetic, and the decor and program added vintage black-and-white touches. Jayden’s favorite color is black, and she asked all guests to wear black, with her bridesmaids and groomsmen following suit. Her dress was a beautiful blend of boho and elegance, featuring a slit on her left leg and an off-the-shoulder sleeve comb.

Overcoming the Indiana Summer Heat

Summer weddings in Indiana are not for the faint of heart due to the intense heat and humidity. To manage the weather, it’s essential to plan strategically, keeping photo sessions short to avoid overheating. The couple provided fans, water stations, and held guests in air-conditioned spaces until the ceremony to keep everyone comfortable.

Budget-Friendly Tips

Jayden and Levi demonstrated that a beautiful wedding doesn’t have to break the bank. They used fake florals, catered from Chick-fil-A, and chose a public park for the ceremony location, all of which helped keep costs down. Their minimal decor approach also contributed to their budget-friendly celebration.

Ceremony and Reception Highlights

One of the most memorable moments of the day was when Jayden and Levi exchanged their own handwritten vows at the altar. Personal and emotional, this intimate moment was a photographer's dream to capture. Another standout was their program, themed like a newspaper, allowing the couple to share their story in a fun and unique way.

Photography Highlights

The portraits of the bride and groom were some of our favorite moments of the day. Since Jayden and Levi decided not to see each other before the ceremony, the anticipation and excitement were palpable. Capturing their first look at each other, as they looked their absolute best, was a truly special moment.

Jayden and Levi’s wedding is a testament to the fact that all you need for a perfect wedding is love, friends, family, and a bit of creativity. They created a beautiful and memorable day without spending a fortune, focusing on what truly mattered.
