Well, what can we say about weddings in Indiana in April? Sometimes you get 75 and sunny, and sometimes you get 40 and windy. Well, April 2nd of this year brought us not only 40 degree temperatures, but also 50 mph winds (gusting to 70 mph), snow (yes SNOW), rain and even some sun...

It would have been very easy (and understandable) for Kendra & Jarrod to just throw in the towel and give up on outdoor pictures, but we are most happy that they decided not to. The wind yielded just long enough to get some shots in and the sun even decided to join us for some as well. A message to all couples out there, you cannot control the weather (only Storm can and she's a comic book character), just roll with it, You never know what will come your way. Plan all you want, just bear with us while we navigate it together!

Kendra & Jarrod were our first official wedding for the 2016 season and we've known them for over a year since first meeting them at a wedding show last spring. It's always bittersweet for us. While a very happy day no doubt, it's sadly the last time that we get to see many of these couples whom we've come to know as friends.
